|Dan is a veteran prop serving in the front row for nearly 9 years. Excellent strength and graduate of Penn State. Has served as Club President.||
|Tommy "Machine Gun" Krebs, Wing Forward, attended Hampden Sydney. Fierce fighting machine who never gives up. Tommy garners great respect on the team for his tenacity and fight and has great hands.|
Steve is a polished veteran with Division I experience. Smooth customer--can play fly, center, fullback with grace and confidence. Outstanding sevens player too.
Darryl is the iron man who rarely misses training, plays hurt, extremly dedicated member of the A side. Solid performer at wing or outside center with VRU select side honors. Outstanding sevens player too.
Tyler is a Prime Alfa Prop with VRU select honors. The Barbarian is cagey and contentious, a holy terror with the ball inside the 22 meter. Watch those elbows! Knows how to score, good speed for a front row player. The kinda mate you dearly appreciate going into a tough physical match. Nice disposition but don't annoy this hombre on the field of play.

Pete Sweet, Head Coach
Pete is the longest active serving member of the club starting his playing career with old Richmond RFC in 1977. His playing career in the VRU is without peer during his playing prime from the late 70's to late 80's. Pete scored 17 tries his second season with Richmond after moving to the backline! Scored hat trick v The Wester Rugby Union representing the old Eastern Rugby Union in 1983. Was on the radar for National selection in the early 80's but business and family precluded a full effort to make that level. Although, archival scoring was and is not consistent in our rugby community, all his peers agree that Pete was the scoring monster in tries and kicks for goal during his stellar playing career. Pete represented the Virginia Rugby Union in over 50 matches--no one in living memory can match that record. Pete has served in the past as selector, captain , and head coach for our club and brings a wealth of experience and winning spirit to our club.More on Pete Sweet's rugby history-click here.
