Teams like Mary Washington,James Madison,VMI,Radford which we routinely competed against and beat in years gone by are playing at a different level. Remember our spring victories over Penn State and Harvard? That does not happen anymore. Collegiate rugby gets more competive every year at every level. The Bar is going UP.

Tribe Rugby needs a plan that will give us the best and most practical method for securing a few quality foreign exchange students for our Team. We are now competing at Div lII v clubs like Hampton Sidney and Washington and Lee. The rugby is always good but Tribe Rugby tradition deserves a better legacy.

For those that don't know, Jon Hill served as Captain for Tribe rugby in the mid eighties and graduated with distinction from Marshall Wythe School of Law. Jon has been a long time supporter of your old club and currently has a family and practices law in New Jersey. Jon has graciously agreed to serve as our Rugby Alumni Chairman and Trustee and writer and creator of our 501c William and Mary Rugby Alumni Association.
