Below are the dimensions of a rugby union pitch and rugby union goal posts as required by the International Rugby Board. There is some latitude with the length and width of a rugby pitch. The 22 meter area must be preserved but some variation in the depth of the try zone and the distanse from the 22 to halfway line is within the law.
