This obituary was in the RTD a few days ago but unfortunately no body recognized it as important to the Richmond Rugby Club. Johnny Morgan was an original RRFC Old Boy and contributed in many ways to the club and its success. I do not think he had a chance to vote for GWB next week (thank god) nor got to see the last Boston Red Sox victory over his NY Yankees.

We will miss him for his cool calm collective manner he projected to one and all. This afternoon Danny Patterson referred to a Roanoke newspaper writeup on Johnny Morgan which we will try to locate and post to the club's web page. Pass on the word to others not on the email loop.
