The Virginia Old Boys took this one but not without a a spirited contest. Will Thornton scored a nice try in the corner. Rich Britten combined with Danny Patterson and Todd Sowder for some committed inside running that was exciting to witness. Frank Punch has a galloping run off a scrumdown. Charlie Grant showed exceptional consistency in the close contact stuff getting the ball back.
