Commonwealth Cup 1968

Here are some images of the tournament brochure that was published for the 1968 Commonwealth Cup. This venerable and important tournament was arguably the most important rugby tournament on the east coast of America in the 60s and 70s hosted by the first rugby club in Virginia,The Virginia Rugby Football Club. Some of the best teams in the country and outstanding international touring sides competed in Charlottesville in the spring at the Commonwealth Cup.

This brochure was returned to the Commonwealth of Virginia Rugby Hall of Fame in the winter of 2015 by Robert James, grandson of a Welsh player on tour, that competed in the 1968 Commonwealth Cup. Enjoy.
